Wow!  Congratulations!
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I really can't see how they get much better, or even a better ending to a long journey.  Congrats on the bull of many lifetimes!

Stud of a bull!!!!!!!!!!! Did he talk much?

He bugled three times before I saw him. My buddy and his dad never heard him crashing through the brush or bugle. When he was about 25 yards away behind some thick brush my buddy ripped another bugle, still not knowing he was right there and I thought for sure he was going to blow out of there, but the bull bugled right back for the fourth time and headed right for the call. They saw me draw my bow, shoot and heard the thwack and kept yelling at me asking what did I just shoot!? I kept telling them just wait till we walk over there. The crazy thing was, I damn near shot a cow about an hour before he came in. She came on the same trail he did and my buddy kept trying to get me to shoot her and I was like no way, we came all the way up here for one reason!

No. We left the lower part of the jaw on the mountain to trim as much weight as possible. A buddy of mine is pretty good at that stuff and he said judging by the upper teeth and the ivorys he figures he was about 10 1/2 years old.
