How's this for a concealed carry gun?

I have had a LC9 for over a year and carry it every day.  I have 3 holsters for it, OWB an IWB and a sleeve from Blackhawk.  I love it but,  the trigger does take some getting used to.

Personally I wouldn't carry any LC Ruger Model. LC9, LCR.People buy them & love them, But they are limited to that one handgun bought because it was cheap, and most have no knowledege of quality handgun. The local gun shops I frequently call the LC models, LC9 the (Little Crappy 9s) or the LCR, the (Little Crappy Revolver)
I love Ruger, But the LC model, Ill pass on.
 

In my honest opinion the S&W 642 Airweight 38 + P is the one to buy. Right about $400 & Tax, If they want more then that contact me with an IM. $425 tops plusTAX!

I have eight other Ruger models of Handguns, so I'm not bashing Ruger, Im Just Bashing that series of HANDGUN!

I like the LCR esp in 357. Super light, compact and plenty of power for a field carry.  Whats not to like?

I have the LC9 and I hate it. Trigger pull is horrendous. I can probably give you a good price on it if you want.

No offense, trigger work is probably the easiest mod anyone can do to a hand gun.
I added a Powder River Precision trigger mod to my XD. One YouTube video and five minutes of my time and my trigger is crisp and three pounds lighter.
All Glocks I have owned have the same angle of their grip. If my hand does not like that angle, does that make all Glocks suck?
Trigger, grips, sights, etc..... Are all personal preference.
Trashing a weapon because of the trigger is like saying corvettes suck because the tires are crap.

Little crappy 9's?  Wow...  Cost was far from the issue on my LC9 and LCP purchases.

  They are light, thin and extremely reliable. Many other handguns of mine stay in the safe while it goes daily.  I choose to carry a LC9 daily strictly due to weight, comfort and the ability to conceal it.  To insinuate that one buys a LC9 or LCP strictly due to the cheap cost and lack of handgun knowledge is quite a narrow minded opinion.  Hopefully the OP can see past the "crappy" comment and go handle and shoot one as well as other handguns on his list and formulate his own opinion.

I've bought my last Ruger just due to their warranty service. Ironically my cheapest (crappiest?) pistol, a kel-tec had an issue and when I called them they were happy to either have me send the pistol to them or they would send the part to me. I opted to have the part sent to me as I did with Savage, both painless experiences but Ruger involved a 30 minute conversation on the phone where they absolutely had to have the gun and had to put it all back to original spec at my expense and against my wishes just to get a magazine follower replaced...

On a side note my 638 (+p 38 spl) has never needed anything other than cleaning and is a surprisingly good shooter.

I carry an LC9 with the lasermax laser every day and love it. It's easy to conceal, comfortable to carry and reliable. I've put lots of rounds through it and haven't had any troubles with it.

I have sold several of the models you are talking about. The green laser is killer and is amazing in low light. The trigger pull is a bit long but once you put a few mags down range you get use to it. Overall great little guns.

I played with the LC9 and the LC9s.  You can, somewhat, get used to the longggg trigger pull of the LC9 until you shoot the LC9s.  Once you shoot the striker fired 9s, it's all over for the 9.  At least it was for me.  But, then came along the Walther PPS and it was all over for the Ruger LC9s.  The PPS is slightly larger and more expensive but I liked it enough to purchase it over the Rugers. 

But, for a decent CCW that comes with a lazer, I don't know how you could beat that price and make sure you keep a copy of the receipt with you at all times because you'll need it to remind you why you bought the LC9 after you pick up a LC9s.
