You guys helped me out a little while ago, so I humbly come forth for some more assistance...

I've got a Fred Bear compound bow. 28 in draw. Tuned to 55 pounds. Intend on using it elk hunting next year.
2 questions:
1. I got some arrows from a website, but I don't know if I got the wrong ones or not.
These are what I bought.
Gold Tip Carbon Traditional: 29 inches, 3555/500, GPI 8.6, four inch feather vanesThe reason for my confusion is a friend of mine, who has been archery hunting for a long time, said that they might be too light for my 55 pound (and maybe stronger draw in the future), resulting in bad flight and possibly shot shock.
The main question is are those arrows too light or are they usable?
2. So I went out and bought some
Cabelas Stalker Extreme arrows.
Carbon, 31 inch, 400 55/70, GPI 8.4, 2 in plastic vanesMy main question here is should I get the arrows cut? I know it is said that the arrows should be approximately 1.5 inch longer than your draw length. 31 inches would be 3 inches longer (not including arrow head).
3. And final, which is the better arrow?
Thanks!
