I guess I'll have a field report in a few weeks.

I have one.  Good day pack for upland or big game.  If your a geardo, you will be cramped on space.  Has enough room for lunch, 3L water, the bare essentials and not much more.  I like the straps on the bottom of the pack to strap layers like raingear or extra top for when you stop and glass.  I customized mine with some extra side straps to hold my spotter and tripod and they work great.  I've had mine for 3 seasons and no signs of failure.

That's good to hear. Yeah it's for some day hunts, survival gear, water and food is all I need to pack. Thanks for the feedback.

Got it in the mail yesterday and it should work out great. Only problem I can see is there is no chest strap. I knew that going into it but the wife is going to take care of that.

Love mine. I bought it for the small size. It usually holds lunch and a little gear is all. No chest strap bothered me a bit but since it doesn't haul much it doesn't really need it. I did manage to pack both fronts and bootstraps from a small buck with it. Anyway, great pack for morning or evening hunts.
