I love the colors! That is one neat bull with the black nose and red eyes/face. Congrats on a dream hunt!

Yes there are Oxen all over the place and they are mainly a nuisance.
The are I'm hunting in is Unit 22E and the moose season runs from August 1st-December 31st. No special permit required just a harvest permit card.
Area is the northern Seward Peninsula near the Bering Land Bridge National Monument and Preserve.
The only living inhabitants we see are grizzlies moose wolverines ox and ptarmigan. No humans travel it and that's why I'm there.
