Last weekend for me

Well season is over for me with a big fat goose egg. But I'm ok with that!  Had a great season while hunting with my wife! Now I need to find me a smooth bore barrel before turkey season so I can try chasing gobblers with the smokepole

Hit it hard since Friday, Saturday, Sunday two different units returning to known deer sightings since late season started, all remote walk in 2+ miles deep and dark. We encountered 0 hunters in the brush and 0 deer. Where did they go ?

Bummer. I ran in to a couple of road hunters but that was it. Hiked in a ways and saw a couple doe but couldn't get close enough to take a solid shot (archery). I will be back out this weekend.

   dang shame some people have to leave their  trash around .that is just the kind of things that give the decent  hunters a bad rep. thanks for picking it up and getting rid of it Soady  good job
