Thieves in the Cowiche unit
« on: October 15, 2014, 08:33:24 PM »
Had my window smashed out and the bag to my pack frame stolen out of my truck on the north fork rd about 3/4 of a mile before the nasty crick corrals on opening morning.

Just wanted to give people a heads up

Its pretty sad because I've parked there on opening day for the past 12+ yrs.

About 6 yrs ago we caught some tweekers that broke into a friends truck up there and it didn't pan out so well for them. I hope the same thing happens to these people

It's a long shot but if anyone on here saw anyone parked close to a dark blue 4 Dr Tacoma on opening morning between 6:15 am and 11:30 am let me know. Just the make of the vehicle would be nice because I know they'll be back

Me and my son had two gents come up on our truck we were sitting on a knoll 800 yards away they looked in my windows I was looking at them through my scope was going to put a few rounds into the clearing to there right but they got back in their rig and left. Would have been funny to see them beat feet if they tried any funny business.

JM , They broke into the tampico store the same morning . From asking around it seems to be the same trash that has been doing it , they will make a mistake and get caught .

Hopefully they hit the wrong guy and wind up 6' under. A few daisy pushing scum hopefully sends the message if it's worth it to the rest. :twocents:

Even more of a reason why I dont leave anything in my truck as well as I dont park very far away. I would totally put a round into anyone breaking into my truck. Sounds like hunting season next year in gmu 368

Sorry to hear that buddy.  That has gotta be frustrating.  On a side note,  I have a pack for sale, no frame though. :chuckle:

Hadn't heard about the store being robbed.

It did smell a little fruity in my truck afterwards. Should've known it was you Karl
