I'm in the market for a new rain coat as well.  Been looking at the Chugach and Yukon and am interested in First lite as well.  Can anyone speak to the durability of the Kuiu jackets?  In regards to hunting the brush of the west side?   Durability is my main concern.

I have both Chugach and Yukon jackets.  I hunt blacktail in both SE AK and WA.  Can't beat the Yukon's durability for brush hunting.  Breathes great and keeps you dry.  Hard to beat in torrential downpours.  Best rain jacket I've ever owned!
If you go straight long enough you'll end up where you were.

Good to know.  I want a coat that breathes well too, because it takes some effort to get to where we blacktail hunt and you do get sweating.  In addition to being durable and as water proof as possible.  I appreciate the info Limits, thanks.

I got the stormtight earlier this year. did the old shower test for 15 minutes and was bone dry. it was awesome the 1st few rainy days as well. but, my joy was short-lived since water started seeping in while out in a downpour. im going to try to reactivate the DWR or wash it in some atsko permanent waterproofer because I love the fit, how light/packable and quiet (for a shell) it is. if it doesn't work im going with the yukon
