What does it mean when a beaver is "chewed up"?

In the spring they start fighting with each other and have some pretty severe bite marks that really show up when you flesh them, heck some of them even have open sores and scars.  They are actually pretty territorial.

 Great Season.  It was a good Mink race between you guys and 3 Nails.
 Are those Mink still prime this late in the season.

The mink still look pretty good, but with this warm weather it is time to stop. I need to get ready for the Nafa pickups anyway!!! See you in Elma!!!!
