I don't have that model ( mines the 93r17 TR) but its a tack driver. The accutrigger is nice. My brother has a different model than this one and mine but it shoots just as good as mine.

Ive heard nothing but good these on these 93's, I was considering a stainless standard barrel one until I seen this one, I dig it being shorter, but cant find much info on it.

I have the 17HMR and 22 mag in that model. Accurate and not expensive on the pocket book. Look it up on Davidson's Gun Genie and price it compared to your local Cabelas..

I also have the 17 WMR..........YIKES !!! If you want it for coyotes and general vermin, that's what I'd get. They have a newer one in stainless with a bull barrel. They didn't have that available when I bought mine, wish they did...
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

thought about the WMR, but how loud is it?

I was digging the one I posted the link to because its nice and short, be easier to pack around and in and out of the truck. That was my thought anyway, if it wasnt too bad on accuracy

I don't have that particular model but I have the stainless thumbhole stock model and it's a little tack driver.  It's my #1 sage rat killer.  That little 17gr Vmax really makes those little buggers go POP!!

As for loudness, you can shoot it w/o ear plugs. It's got a snappy crack to it, but not annoying. I bought it for coyotes over here and have not shot one yet. I have 1000 rounds for mine, so I'm ready.....

That's funny, we must think alike because I'm not only waiting for that ThunderBeast 22L-1 but a 223P-2 that will go on my little .223 Ack. Imp.
