Do you shoot shuttle T broad heads?!

I was fortunate enough to harvest this buck last Wednesday, and while skinning it out I found what looked like a stick lodge under his arm and into his shoulder. Pulled it out and to my surprise found a small section of an arrow shaft and its broad head attached. This is a chelan county buck. Just thought I'd throw this up here in case someone recognizes it and give them an easy feeling about the blood trail they couldn't find the end to. Tough deer this guy was. Not even a limp to him!

Could you tell how it was hit ? Off side ? Bone ? Angle ?

I shoot shuttle T's and love them. My gues is whoever shot that buck doesn't pull much draw weight. Shuttle T's have the hardend tip to punch through bone but IMO you should be pulling 60+ lbs. Last year I hit my bear a little far forward and blew through both front shoulders but I also draw 70 lbs.they are a very good broadhead but not if you draw 55 or less lbs. Then you would want to maybe use a cut on contact broadhead to get more penetration. Most likely a case of someone hearing how great of a broadhead they are because they do fly amazing but not doing their homework and they shoot 50 lbs. Nice buck though and I'm glad you got it just so nothing bad happened like it die from infection over the winter and it go to waste.

Use to shoot Shuttle T's until I found Slick Trick Standard 125's....I will never turn back.   Both work but the Slick trick has left blood trails a blind person could follow, tough as nails.

it looked like it was a quartering away shot. And don't get me wrong I think shuttle t broad heads are great, this post wasn't meant to bash them or anything. But I am also a slick trick guy when it comes down to it. Love em.

I shoot the shuttle T with a 45# PSE EVO 7. I have had a couple of complete pass through shots on blacktails.
I think they are great broadheads.

Nice buck! They are amazing animals to be able to live with a broken off arrow and look like there is nothing wrong with them. I can't imagine a man being able to walk around with that stuck in him.

Yup 30.06. 6th deer I've taken with that particular rifle. Used to be my dads so it also has that sentimental value to it. And thanks guys! The worst part about having your deer tag filled is I can't use all the rest of that time I had with my multi season tag lol. I hate not being out in the woods. The fact that he wasn't limping at all completely blew my mind.
