SWITCHING SHOTGUN BARRELL/ PUMP ACTION ON SEMI
« on: October 11, 2014, 01:39:48 PM »
I HAVE FRIEND WHO HAS A  WIN SX3 SEMI 3-1/2 WITH A SLIGHT BULGE NEAR THE END OF THE BARRELL IE 4-5 INCHES. I WAS WONDERING IF YOU GUYS THINK  HE COULD PUT A SXP BARRELL ON IT, ESSENTIALLY SWAPPING THE BARRELL FOR SAFETY REASONS? SAME BORE DIAMETER ETC. THIS MAY SOUND LIKE AN ODD QUESTION/ STUPID QUESTION BUT HEY HE NEEDS SOME HELP AND I DIDNT KNOW?

I dont think that will work. a Pump action barrel lug wont have the gas ports in it. If he can find a Browning or a FNH barrel from a semi it should fit..All 3 are virtually the same gun with different plastics.

Sorry it will not as JJB11B said about getting a new barrel is correct, try Numric Arms. Also the lock up between the two are as different than night and day.
