I went out four times during this MF season, saw nothing, heard a deer once. This morning, the day after the season ends (except for late buck) this sturdy looking three point comes bounding out of the woods, fifty feet in front of me, crosses the dirt road I'm on and leaps into the woods on the other side, handsome deer, would have been tough to get a shot on him quickly enough if I had been hunting. Doesn't it figure, the day after the season ends and out he comes. This was at 12:30 in the afternoon, does this mean the rut has got them moving at different times?
