Rabbit hunting in the Methow area
« on: November 01, 2014, 10:47:38 PM »
I just moved to twisp and I was wanting to get some cottontail or snow shoe, I don't know this land very well and I'm looking for a good spot within a hour, any good tips or spots? Or anyone willing to go with me?

Head up towards 8 mile ranch then left towards Billy Goat trail head check the brushy areas especially on the right as you go up.

Another good spot for bunnies, as well as bobbies is up above the edelweiss subdivision off goat creek road. Take the road just past the main entrance on the north, stay on main portion of the road until you clear the subdivision and then start hunting.  Best time here is once there is some snow on the ground for tracking
