Shot a turkey a couple years ago that ran about 100 yards and piled up even though the broadhead went through a lung and sliced his neck.  It was a very lethal shot but they can move quickly before dying.  String tracker would have helped me find him a LOT sooner.  Took like four hours  >:(

Last year I stuck one that was facing me head-on.  The arrow went in right at the base of the neck and out the b-hole.  He jumped about 8' in the air and hit the ground dead  :tup:  Turkeys are just tough, tough birds.   :dunno:

those new broad heads you are shooting will show the difference  :tup:

I've been shooting at a lot of turkey with my bow with no luck yet.  I too have lost multiple arrows.  I have not been using a blind, just spot and stalk and a lot of sitting.  The closest I got was a bunch of feathers but no blood.  Good luck everyone. 
I have yet to loose an arrow AT a turkey.
If you know were "a lot" of easterns are here in SW Washington, I would love to come and critic your shooting.
Maybe pull some arrows out of stumps...

Hmm...  Lots of shot opportunities at Easterns sounds like a good turkey hunter but you should really get into an archery shop.
