Wet Days Compared To Dry Days!
« on: November 12, 2014, 06:55:51 AM »
We hunt Idaho for the most part every year, I generally hunt on average 25 days out of the 32 day archery seasons. Out of those days I'd guess on average that we may have 3-5 days of rain, sure there may be a couple of others where there's some drizzle here & there but not like actual all day rains. What would you guess on how many days I'd be in rain if hunted the same amount of time in WA?

Bout the same in Eastern WA, in Western it really just depends on the year; but probably looking at 30%-50% rain.

Paul,

If you want to target Rosies, you'd be wise to pack some good rain gear.  :)

:yeah:
I hunt both Eastern WA and Eastern ID, and the rain is roughly the same.  This year I had more rain in ID than WA.  Last year was the opposite.

Thanks! Not planning hunting in WA anytime soon, was just curious as to the different weather patterns with a neighboring state! Thanks!

Realistically the north west is gona be the wettest getting dryer as you head south and east

There's a ton of stuff on the Web that can give you pretty good idea of what to plan for
