Those are nice chums but no, chum does not smoke OK.  They are better grilled.  I wouldn’t waste all the time, effort and good brine on a chum.  Even bright ones.  :tung:

Nice fish! Sprinkle with brown sugar and layer with onions. Bake at 375 till it flakes with fork. Save all the kings and silvers you have for the smoker. :tup:
