The learning curve starts next week.

Well, after being on this site for a bit over a year now, and back in WA for about 2.5 years now, I couldn't accept the fact that I had to put my rifle away (except for maybe lucking into a cougar) at the end of deer/bear season. It looked like a lot of you were having fun (and upping your chance for a cougar even) by going out small game/varmint hunting. SOooooo, I just cashed in my 1/2 full 5 gallon jug of coins, and ordered a FoxPro Fusion game call. Should be here next week
Please, forgive me now for what might be a onslaught of stupid questions in the near future

Hilltop, I was born and raised in Port Angeles, moved away many years ago, just got back to the NW in 2012. Lived in Port Orchard for a year, then the wife and I bought a house in Poulsbo last year. Love it here, and its a LOT closer to "getting over the canal" to get into some pretty good hunting/fishing/hiking areas
You live up in this area?

PA and PO, makes you a local
. I graduated from NK, many moons ago. I live on the east side now, the peninsula just got to crowded for me and a lot of things changed, when I got back from the service. So we moved 11 years ago, we still got friends and family in the area.

I hear the many moons ago. I graduated in PA in '75, then Navy 1975-1979. Lived in Reno for about 38 years, and just got back here where I belong 2 years ago. Having a ball getting back into the woods, and relearning the area!

Lots of fun, and challenges, hunting coyotes. You will enjoy extending your hunting season. Sent you a pm about meeting up on the peninsula.

Yeah, they have a lot of area they allow hunting, all gated and walk in only, but a lot of area still open to hunters.
