Broadhead Question
« on: September 06, 2007, 09:03:17 PM »
After practicing with field tips I've switched over to broadheads for the last little bit of practice before the season. The only broadheads I've shot are the ones I designated for practice (same as my hunting broadheads). So my question is ~ should I shoot the actual broadheads and arrows I will be hunting with to confirm there is nothing funny going on or this uneccessary?

I would just spin test your arrows with the broadheads on. I won't practice with my hunting arrows. I like my hunting arrows in perfect condition, with absolutely razor sharp heads on them.

I agree 100% with Ironhead.  I do shoot my hunting arrows a couple of times with field points, to make sure there isn't a fletching issue.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
