Muzzle-loaders.com
« on: December 01, 2014, 05:37:21 AM »
I thought I'd give Muzzle-loaders.com a big pat on the back for giving me such great service over the holiday weekend.  I got fast replies to my emails and some great advice on which muzzleloader to buy for my wife.  As recommended by Jeff Clemens, I ordered the CVA Optima NW Edition.  I was surprised... they shipped my order the same day & we received it in two business days -- just in time for the late hunt.

This is a great black powder rifle -- something she can break down in the field without any tools.  Yesterday, I was able to break the gun completely down using a penny.  The breech plug is finger tight, comes right off by hand.  We fired some caps on the porch last night.  Real easy.  Once we take it to the range I'll share a full review of the CVA NW Optima.

Muzzle-loaders.com has great prices on all brands, and $2 shipping right now.  The best service you can find.  I give them my highest recommendation, if you're looking for a new gun.

O.k., that's my plug!   8)

I can agree on the service and the shipping. I sent him a pm through here asking for some bullet suggestions. Made my choice and ordered a few boxes. I had the same shipping results. Out the door the same day an in my mailbox 2 days later. Oh yeah, middle of hunting season too. They're not taking days off for hunting season while their customers wait for service. Good stuff.

I haven't ordered bullets from them.  I'll have to take a look.  I'm wondering why they don't have powder???

It costs more to ship with hazmat charges Is what I was told. Tough to compete.
