Finally got my buck!
« on: December 01, 2014, 08:52:29 AM »
Yesterday 10 minutes before dark I was able to get my first archery buck! Only have shot does till now. I had a doe walk in a couple minutes before he came running in grunting more than I have heard any buck grunt. To bad for him he wasn't paying any attention to me. Double lunged him and he went about 80 yards. After letting him be for about 25 minutes before tracking I turned on my flashlight on my phone and it instantly died...... Turned on the flashlight on my wifes phone and it died..... (I knew I should have grabbed the flashlight before we left in the morning.) In any case I knew what direction he went and I thought I heard him take his last breaths after he ran off. After about 10 minutes there he was! In the afternoon I got busted by really nice 4x4 that hopefully my wife will get next weekend now!

Nice buck!!  Don't forget that flashlight for your wife's buck.  It gets dark quick this time of year!

Nope PSE EVO I bought at the RMEF auction a few years ago so it has the logo in the grip.
