lamiglas warrenty
« on: December 19, 2014, 01:39:58 PM »
So I broke my lamiglas 1307 8'6" rod in August and sent it in to their repair dept in woodland wa. Finally got a response yesterday that my rod would not be fixed due to it not being a manufacturers defect. No big deal as the rod was from pre '96.
Gentleman on the phone offered me an X 11 at a 60 percent discount for 52 dollars after taxes. I opted to buy that rod. That was yesterday. Today I got the rod in the mail and couldn't be happier. on top of everything they waived the shipping fee due to an extended delay response time so thanks to Chris at Lamiglas I did not have to pay the shipping either.
I'm not too impressed with their speedy turn around but I will be dealing with lamiglas again as they did me right.

Idk if they do but you would assume a $250 rod should be replaced no matter what.... I couldn't afford to pay $120 for a "similar" rod though being it during the holidays and all. I still can't get over how fast I received my new rod .. I ordered it at 3 pm yesterday

I know some of them use to have a warranty like that. I have not bought any in a few years.

Thanks I can't wait to slay some springers with it. Now I can retire my un-sensitive heavy uglystick backup rod!

That is why I stick with them.  I have broke a few rods and they always make it right.  Ended up with 2 kenai kwik on my last warrenty swap out
