If you can, try them all before you buy. Browning, Benelli, Beretta Xtrema 2, etc. They are all nice, but each is a little different.

I"ve got 7yrs into my SBEII now. It's reliable, lighter than the gas guns which makes it faster on the swing but still follows thru well. Recoil is not even noticeable even w/3.5"ers.
Out of the dozen or so shotguns I've shot for hunting over the years the SBEII is by far my favorite.

I am also a fan of the SBEII.  I have 3 of them in different set ups!  Good functioning guns!
