Boiled skulls always seem really brittle to me.  I like letting nature's bugs take care of it.  Hope it turns out for you.

I have lots of luck with boiling the skulls then I wrap them in rags soaked in hydrogen peroxide for a few days this seems to work better than bleach as the skulls tend to yellow up after a while using bleach the head is done and turned out great but don't have a picture of it yet it's at my dads house to be mounted on a plaque then I will get it back and hang it on the wall with the others. That will have to be after hunting season we still have elk to kill. I will post up an after pic when I get it back.

Went to my parents for Christmas and brought my head back I would say it turned out great really like the European mounts when I can't afford a shoulder mount. Now just need to figure out how I want to mount it

Looks good! I'd use the skull hooked system I like the way they look. I skull capped my muzzy bull from this year and just boiled it yesterday.  Ran out of propane so had to improvise,  yes I asked the wife's permission 1st lol
