cabelas has a Nikon 3-9x40 active target predator for 120$
any thoughts on this scope. thanks again.

I have Nikon scopes and again, never any issues.

weaver makes a great scope for the money.  japanese glass.

redfields are good scopes too but not the bargain they were when the brand first came back.  they've nearly doubled in price for the USA made models in the past 5 years.
you can still get gas in heaven, and a drink in kingdom come,
in the meantime, i'll be cleaning my gun

Want cheap? Go to Wal-mart and pick up a $65 3-9x40mm. Hit up your local pawn shops, you can usually find a decent scope at a cheap price! Good luck.
