Wife's European mount
« on: January 18, 2015, 04:30:14 PM »
Short story, my dog got ahold of my wife's deer head before I buried it. I won't say what happened to the dog just short of me burying her with the skull.   With it damaged a little I thought I'd try this mount. Turned out ok

Hope what's a joke?

Euro looks good, even with the nose gone from the dog.

Hinting he killed the dog and buried it because he didn't secure the skull to make sure the pet couldn't get to it in the first place? Not the dogs fault.

Otherwise if it is a joke, I think the mount looks great.

I said " just short "   Hinting that I wanted to but never would, she's a bluetick that we all love and hunt with that has never done that before on the dozen others.
Yes I was made. It was in garage, she snuck in when I wasn't lookn.  So I'd say it was her fault. And mine for trusting her

The mount looks much better in person, pic is kinda rough

Didn't see the "just short", read it as -won't say what happened just of me burying her with the skull" and it sounded literal. Phew!

I like the grassy/brush look. Don't think I've ever seen that before with a euro, looks cool.

Ha! My mastiff mix snuck into the garage where I was butchering my deer this year while I was in the bathroom. I kid you not, he had walked right past where I had the tenders, the backstrap, the quarters, and a decent hamburger pile layed out in order to eat a latex glove and lick the spine.

The mount looks good though. I would definitely add something like that to the man cave decor. Maybe an idea for future.
There is something just indescribably painful about being stuck behind a prius on the interstate.

Those are pics from your phone probably? I use an app called picart to resize etc you could see if that works for you. A lot of phone pics post sideways.
