I got the Roosevelt Fever..
« on: January 26, 2015, 02:24:24 PM »
My brother is meeting me at my place in Coulee City Friday night, we are going to hit Spring Canyon hard. Depending on results I'll head back solo sun and monday but looking to hit up 2 rivers for burbot and maybe a walleye or 2.

Ordered my Roosevelt permit on the 17th, hoping it gets here.

Ordered some Kekeda flies last week, hope they come.

My bro can only fish Sat, so if anyone normal type person would like to fish Sat or Sun Spring Canyon, Keller Ferry, or 2 rivers I might be interested in letting them aboard. 17.5 older smokercraft, 2 fishermen total have elbow room. 3 total is a little tight under my small top.

Someone with burbot and winter walleye experience out of 2 rivers would be great.

Got 2 manual down riggers, 2 planer boards.

Yeah what is a Roosevelt Permit?  Is that sold by Prevailing Wages, Inc?

If you're fishing from the waters in the main lake, all you need is a standard license.

Or are you referring to a parking pass?
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

Any recent reports? Heading up on Monday. Have not finished Roosevelt very many times. When I have finished it its always been summer so this will be a new experience. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

We had some guests at the Lodge over the weekend and they caught 5 trout on Sunday off the bank. Power bait ( rainbow colored ) 18-20 inches of leader and a slip sinker. The more they lower the lake the further towards the dam I'd fish. Spring Canyon should be good as well as Swawilla Basin .
