I'd like to take my 14YO son on a quality elk hunt this year and I'm considering Oregon.
If anyone has a recommendation on a good outfitter, I'd really appreciate it.
Not looking for a trophy bull hunt, but somewhere that we'll have a good chance of seeing a decent amount of elk and a decent chance of getting a shot.
Much appreciated!

Spent the week next to Blue Mountain Adventures out of La Grande at the Sportsman's Show in Puyallup.  Seems to have a pretty sweet set up with good success and lots to offer.

You can check them out at bluemountainadventures.com

Good luck finding the right adventure!

I have heard great things about john cole. We have a few local guys that go about every other year. They have had pretty good luck hunting and always at least got into the elk if they didn't bring one home.

If you want a back country hunt you should consider Josh carolbomb at sun canyon lodge in Montana.  Good guy with chances at 350 class bulls.
