Teardrop trailers
« on: February 06, 2015, 02:47:46 PM »
Anybody have a teardrop trailer? I'm thinking about building one on a lifted trailer for jeep related shenanigans. Now with a kid on the way, its going to be really hard to take the jeep anywhere without some extra storage, and I figure a companion trailer to the jeep would making going places a lot easier.  I'm thinking something that can be utilized as part box trailer, part camper would be ideal, anybody else out there have similar thoughts?
catch it. kill it. cook it. eat it.
Forget the bear spray, use wasp killer. Concentrated delivery stream, 10X the product, and only $3.00 on sale.

Will it have a "baby on board sticker"? Maybe a little garfield doll stuck to it?  :chuckle:

Just tagging to hear about suggestions as a buddy is looking at something similar.

:nono: hey now, watch it haha

I'm thinking if I were to build one it would have the standard camp kitchen, maybe a battery bank, solar panel charger, on board propane tank, LED lights, speaker system, zodi water heater, gas lantern hookup, internal storage, maybe built in icebox, gun rack, built in water tank, slide out table with built in fly tying station...cargo capacity for extra gas cans... I love my Alaknak 12x12 but it would be kinda nice to have something grab-and-go

I'll sell you my 1967 Bell. It's sturdy and would make a perfect jeep trailer. I was going to do the something you were, but bought a camper instead.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

Go to Expedition Portal and go into the forums there. Once in they have expedition trailer thread that has a lot of self builds. I am thinking of doing the same thing. Let us know how it goes.
