Randle/Cougar local trout lakes?
« on: February 10, 2015, 09:25:32 PM »
Hey guys I plan on hunting the Lewis river unit for elk and will be scouting during July/August. I've googled earthed the area an found ALOT of lakes in the area and was wondering if any of these backcountry lakes held any trout or any fish at all due to their sizes. Any info would be greatly appreciated - Thanks

Blue lake up there in the Gifford Pinchot Natl forest used to have some nice browns in it, but I haven't fished it for many years. Takalach is good fishing, during summer. I don't know about during elk season.
