I don't know if anyone would be interested but I am getting chicks (planned) near the end of April/early May. The hatch minimum is 35 and I don't really need that many. Anyone interested in getting some of them to raise for your dog training/eat? I live in Kitsap and would ask you to come to me to pickup.... I expect they will ship under 4$/chick. Any interest PM me.

so I put an order in for 50 today, chicks arrive 29 april, 12 spoken for so far.... they are coming in right at about three-fifty each... I will hold the first week to limit the shock of shipping... you would have grown birds in about 16 weeks from that or end of august....I will part with around 13 more, I want to keep 20 or so......

thanks for the replies! PD and Encore both in for a dozen each.. that is perfect for me!

I will do this again next year so keep me in mind.. I don't mind ordering more if more guys are interested in a few to raise....

if so, start building your pens this year!

next season I also plan on getting some bobwhite quail or Cali valley quail .....


for anyone wanting to train a new puppy, I have pigeons too.......yes I can part with a few.. but I have another puppy coming in june to work so not a lot!

I might be interested in a doz for next year not necessarily to raise for training purposes but for dining purposes.  Hope the cage doesn't come open during the night when down to 2 roosters and all the hens

Birddogdad, let me know if you need anything for raising those chicks. Sounds like we will finally meet at the get together on the 7th but I have EVERYTHING you could need for your plan here. Being you live so close I could lend you stuff you would not have to buy  .
