Good to read, I find very few theories about the drop in population of these two furbearers and even fewer people who seem to care
This is actually a nationwide thing and this theory holds water at first glance
it is too bad that muskrats don't have wings like a bat because then the WDFW would be falling over themselves trying to correct the problem

I blame it on the de ice that the departments are using,,,,,,but,,,hey,,,,any reason to get rid of a cat is ok with me...........
