I would like to see the pros and cons on a 6 in barrel over a 5 in?

A "standard" G20 is a 4.5 inch barrel. Going with that you gain just shy of two inches of sight radius (not a big deal with optics but makes a difference with irons obviously). Velocity wise you're gaining about 100fps when using the heavier bullets (above 180g).

Maybe not huge gains but a few ounces is worth the gains in my opinion, YMMV.

If ya want a semi auto with some punch, build a 460 Rowland.
shoots well with a light compensator. and that 45 cal bullet moves right along

Now that's a round! Have just a little trigger time behind that caliber  it gets into a practical woods defense round imo..
