I beleive I have had pyaxi a couple times when I was a kid .  An old friend of ours used to collect it . He was an old timer . He would fix it in a stew with fish . Not my cup of tea ! But it could have been his cooking or just having been a kid .

Do you like camas root as well? I met a few ladies on the side of the road one day picking camas root. They showed me what they were gathering and I thought it was pretty cool. Then my dad told me there are 2 types and only when they flower can you tell which is which. The other is death camas and he said it's poisonous. Can't remember if it's the yellow flower or the white flower that's the bad one :chuckle:
