Trail cam (moultrie or WIldgame Ino)

Been looking at inexpensive trail cams and Moultrie and Wild Game Inovations seam to be the least expensive ones out there.

Anyone have either one, and how well do they work?


I have a stealth cam, like it, but want to add a few moe cams to my arsenal, so Im not loooking to spend a lot of money, especially with taking a chance at getting them stolen 

I can find both Moultrie and Wild game invation cams for under $75.

I have a couple moultrie M-80's, a 990i and like both models. I also have a moultrie 444, in the summer time I got some nice pic with it, but in the rainy season I have had problems with it fogging up.
 I have one wild game innovation and have had the same results as the moultrie 444, and it eat batteries.

I think that I heard just so - so reviews on the Wild Game cams.  Most Moultrie owners seem to have given good reviews (my own recollections, not necessarily factual).  If you google "trail camera reviews", you can find several websites that have reviewed many of the current models, and of course, they sell them too.  Many of these reviews are worth reading. 

I have four cams now (one .  The things I look for are decent pics, fast wake up, and long battery life.  I would never buy a another camera that used any battery other than AA.  You will be and unhappy after spending $75 on a cheap/ lousy trail cam that does not work well, especially so, when you could have purchased a much better one for $90 - $120.

 When I buy a camera and put it out, I accept that there is at least a small chance that it won't be there when I go back to retrieve the card.  So far, I've been lucky.  Loss to theft is, in no small way, part of the cost involved in getting your satisfaction of knowing the spot you're hunting is well used by game.  I just quit worrying about it.

I have five Moultries, four M100 and one 880. Widescreen photos and flash out to 70ft. Newer units are better at freezing nighttime movement.  Use lithium batteries as they last forever.

Well I picked up another P series Stealth cam today.

Now I just gotta put them out

Seems my son found one of the A5's I set out for some preliminary testing before it goes to the field.  Sometimes I wonder about that boy.
