I'm hoping someone can answer the question so I can tell my wife how much she can sell my mount for when I kick the bucket.  Otherwise I'm pretty sure she'll just take it to the dump.

This is why I'm reluctant to spend much money on taxidermy work- to know that the heads will most likely just end up in a landfill after I'm gone. But I sure will enjoy looking at that bighorn sheep head on the wall when I'm 80 years old and no longer able to hunt!

Agree with what you're saying...but why are you quitting at 80?

I won't quit as long as I can still get around, but I thought I was being optimistic with that. Already have pain in one hip, both shoulders, a knee, and my back. Can't even imagine how I'll feel at 80.

I would bet it would be closer to 8k or 10k. I got offered 5K 6 years ago for a Muledeer my dad shot in 1956. Scores 263 3/8. Cabelas, Bass Pro and traveling horn collections like you see at sport shows all buy big heads

I would agree. 8-10k seems about right.

 It is only worth what some one is willing to pay .  And it makes a big difference on the quality and the condition of the mount . Making #11 B&C makes a big difference . I would like to see it . You cant think of the cost of mount as a investment . It is more so about the memory .

Are you sure on the score? 328 is a long ways from # 11 B & C.

The #11 Roosevelt scores 372 1/8 and is on loan to the B&C National collection and the hunter was Robert H Gaynor.
