need help with how to draw tags
« on: April 01, 2015, 09:03:07 PM »
Hello,
I am a disabled vet and I am trying to figure out how to apply for tags I just started hunting again last year and I am unable to hike in do to injuries I received in Iraq. I did try but it just did not work with my leg. So enuff said on this, how do you apply for the multiple permits for bow muzzle, and modern firearms. I also want to apply for extra tags or doe and cow tag. Any help will be greatly appreciated in this matter.

One more question also do they have a handicap fishing areas to fish rivers in Washington State I have a hard time trying to figure out the rules and maps. Any help will be great.

Mark

Too late to apply for multiple season permits.  Yes, you can apply for doe tags and second deer/damage tags. Also, there's spots all over waters in Washington for disabled people. You might also look into the disabled hunter programs. It will allow you motor access into non motorized areas and other special regulations.

Like the previous post said, you missed the deadline for the multi-season permits (the deadline was yesterday). But you still have plenty of time to get your applications in for special deer and elk permits. In fact the application period hasn't even started yet. The new hunting regulations should be available in about 3 weeks and at that time you'll be able to purchase your applications. You'll have a month to get it done. Just continue posting on here and you'll get all your questions answered.

Oh, and for fishing, try this:  http://wdfw.wa.gov/lands/water_access/accessible/
