I have been reading up on Washington lakes and the stocking plans and a question came up that I am having difficulties in finding a clear answer on the state site.
Here is the line that brought the question up:
The stocking will be comprised of "catchables", "jumbos", "put, grow and take" and "fry/fingerling" plants.
So, what is the difference between "fry/fingerling" and "Put grow and take" fish?
I believe that the fry/fingerling is under 3" and put, grow and take are between 3" and 8", but I couldn't find confirmation of that anywhere.
Any ideas?
