Didn't realize you could start building OIL points without a hunting license. Wish I could have got in on that as a kid. I would have 26 points in every category right now.  :yike: But now that I know that I will be creating accounts for all of my future kids within weeks of them being born and start building OIL points. At least that way by the time they are in their late teens/20's they will have a pile of points already.  :chuckle: :chuckle:

You would only have max points....which is not 26

On a different spin, can I start building points in the 65 and older category?

I feel like our  unused youth points should roll into the 65 and older category...
Youth points are youth points... not 65 and older points.

You can only apply in categories that you are eligible to participate in. You must be 65 to apply in the 65 and older category.

I recently bought my son who is only two years old points for the OIL tags. I got both youth moose and youth sheep points along with any moose..goat and sheep. The applications were only $3.30 a piece. All you need is birthdate and address along with height and weight. I brought his birth certificate in but they didn't use it...don't know if that is how all license places work
