Long Beach pointers for Clams or surf perch?
« on: April 30, 2015, 06:58:44 AM »
We are going to be in Long Beach June 19-28th and would like to try to do some surf perch fishing while there.  I have read through a couple of other threads and think I've got a good idea but any tips would be  appreciated.

I am also curious about  the clamming/oysters at Nemah?  The WDFW shows that Nemah is open for Pacific oysters, eastern softshell and Manila clams, and cockles.  I haven't been clamming since I was a kid and would like to take the kids out, is it different than razor clamming?  Again any tips or insight would be helpful.  Just trying to find outdoor activities to teach the kids.
Thanks
