Get some line out, pull back, from 9 to 1 oclock, accelerating from 0-to 60 (you dont have to have the speed correct, its just to show how fast the acceleration is), then stopping aburply. Once the line is moving backward, count 1,2,3 and go forward, 0 to 60 to 9 oclock. Use your elbow and schoulder. Not your wrist. Once moving forward, count again.
Al your doing is letting the rod load, each way, before changing direction. If you dont your line will pile up.
I work in Southecenter. I could show you in 5 minutes enough to get you a great start. You may roll cast in western wash more than an actual overhand cast. If brush is behind you. Your gonna be roll casting.
