DRANO LAKE
« on: May 06, 2015, 01:56:30 PM »
Any advice for a bank fisherman.  Please feel free to PM me.  I'm working near by and figure I will give it a shot.  I saw some guys throwing spinners with lead

Just thought I would say something. When there isn't 150 boats out there it should be a red flag. But I have seen several people fishing it on wednesdays. Good luck to ya.

Thursday is the best day because the Indians quit early and there is nobody fishing it or stirring it up. From shore you should try pink shrimp or tuna packed in oil tied in a spawn sack. The Bonneville salmon counts have crashed since we were down there Saturday but I bet there are some willing to play.

Thanks man.  Pink shrimp? U mean the dyed ones? Under a bobber or on the bottom?

Pink dyed shrimp in a jar bought from Ranch & Home in Tri cities maybe Milton freewater. Under bobber but close to bottom. Tie yourself some leaders with 2 hooks spaced 6 inches apart with bait loops. Try tuna balls on your second hook. That is oily canned tuna in mesh or nylon stockings tied with thread to be about the size of a nickel.
