The video was taken out near Cottage Lake (pin on map):

One of my neighbors took this pic last week, near Redmond High School:

They're both pretty fat bears...

I lived 50ft from the shores of sammamish for 9 years. I liked Redmond ...some good hunting short drives from there. Just have to worry about the tweakers.

Feel free to PM me where these "good hunting spots a short drive away" are. Lol.

Another Cottage Lake bear from this year, this time about 1/2 a mile North of the lake.

Cool video. He didn't seem to be in any kind of hurry...

Since I grew up in that general area I think its wise to let that bear interact with the bunny huggers in the area... That and keep the WDFW bear dogs away so that they can enjoy the fact that we no longer have hound hunting to "Educate" bears to stay away...

Im sure there are lots of good hunting areas close by... With a bow.
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

The porch looked like a good spot to me. Nice cushioned chair to sit on too..  :dunno:
