havent been hunting in washington long, i was wondering how killing does works, the gmu im in says 3pt minimum so do you have to draw special permits for does? wouldnt mind killing one or two for some meat. thanks!

Depends on what weapon you hunt with. Only allowed one deer per year unless selected for a second deer tag.

There are many GMU's that allow taking a doe during the archery season and muzzleloader has some opportunity for does as well. Modern firearm is almost always buck only unless you draw a special permit. If you want two does apply in the antlerless category and in the 2nd deer category. The antlerless permit will allow you to take a doe with your regular tag. If you draw 2nd deer you need to purchase an additional tag.

Youth and senior have doe rules also. Look at he regs as WDFW makes things complicated
