Wow. That is a nice video. Nice bull your watching to . I never could justify to myself spending the money on one of those ones, but how does it hold up compared to the cameras in the $150 range. Is it one that lasts for years upon years reliably or only 2-3 like a cheaper one?

Impressive quality. Was there any color correction done to the video or was it raw from the chip? I like the benefit of sound too - I had not realized this was a feature of Reconyx.

I had a hard time spending the money on reconyx, but after getting the camera in the woods I was very happy with it. The first one I bought was a PC-800, the reason I bought this camera was because the electronics were conformal coated which they recommend for wet climates, and I liked the ability to program the camera. This camera does not miss pictures, if there is something in front of it is taking pictures.
I did have to sent the camera back after about a year because it started having fause triggers. I called the warranty department, and they asked me to check my settings and try it, this did not help so I needed to send it in for repair. I was nervous about sending the camera back, thinking that I was going to get the run around, but to my surprise it was the best custumer service that I have experienced, they wanted to make sure that I was happy with there product. They found the motion detector was faulty, they replaced it and did an extensive test before sending it back to me, during the whole process they kept me updated with e mail.  When I received my camera back they had a report on what they found, what they did to repair the camera, and gave me a nice hat for my trouble.
This is when I decided to give there new model the XR-6 a try, the day time videos is unbelievable. This is a new camera for me, still learning to use it, but like it so far.

There was no color correction made, straight off the card.
