ground blind options
« on: May 20, 2015, 07:10:13 AM »
I'm looking for a new ground blind and would like some suggestions.  I really would like a blind that has plenty of brush straps sewn on, like a field layout waterfowl blind. I will be bow hunting out of the blind so space would be nice. Also, the blind will be in a weedy river bottom for a week and then head to the mountains for a week, this is why I feel brush straps are really important. I'd like to stay under $200.  What do you guys have or recommend?

Look for something on sale.  As far as brushing options go, I pretty much just bury them in local vegetation so I've never paid attention to straps.

I only use that to conceal from other people though  :dunno:
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

If you can't find one let me know. I don't plan on using mine and you are welcome to it

I have used ground blinds since I started muzzy hunting and I dont worry too much about the brush straps.
Once I get it set up I cut some low hanging limbs and brush and place in front and on it.

They come with tie down cords . I tie  off to trees in case of wind and the cords will catch cut limbs.
I also use dollar store screw drivers for stakes. Easy to put in and out by hand and to keep track of.

Cabelas,Coastal, Sportsmans have them on sale often. I have three and have paid less than 200.00 for each.

The red light is a blind light I use to find it in the dark.
