Coolest Beaver Dam

I drive by this beaver pond / Dam a couple times a week.  I think it is the coolest 8)  beaver dam I've seen and I've been trapping them for 40 years.  It looks like a bathtub where you want to go and pull the plug.   :chuckle: ;)

Is that into a culvert or natural stream? Odd that it drains straight down like that

It is definitely a unique dam.  Too bad this picture wasn't on the "Where is this?" thread.....   :chuckle:

no pics but many moons ago in Idaho I came across a dam that was about 4 1/2 feet high.This was in the south hills..I stood on the back side of the dam and fished the pond,the water was darn near at my eye level,and the fishing was awesome...

I think that one just off of 2 in Snohomish is build around a bunch of T-Posts that WSDOT put in to try and keep the buggers from plugging the culvert.  I guess technically, it worked. 
May that for which I prepare never come to pass.

I've seen that for the last couple of years from hwy 2. I always assumed it was a sink hole in the middle of that pond.
