for the same $ 500 range you can get a hoyt charger, it is a hoyt, not bowtechs leftovers and a much better bow for the price... just something to consider.
you saying bowtech's are leftovers? I went to the diamond plant in oregon and watched them build the diamond.. Didn't see a room where they were remaking bows??? Am I missing something

I think what he's saying is Diamond is Bowtech's more budget friendly line....kind of like Reflex is to Hoyt. Their lower end line of bows.
Not actually "leftovers" per se.
also the diamond line is a solo cam and bow tech are two can bows.   And are definitely not left over parts

My Diamond Infinate Edge is a Dual cam   :dunno:

yes they are duel cams.  The last time I was looking at new bows all diamond bows were single cam. But that is no longer the case.
I don't always shoot big mule deer, but when I do, it's with a bow tech!

The reason the infinite edge is dual cam is to get that broad range of adjustability. Diamond is a Solocam Bowtech. they are all made in the same place. But in all honesty if your looking at a diamond, check out the Hoyt Charger for the price it blows all diamonds out of the water. The Charger the bow i shoot now.

another person with common sense! seriously though in the 500 range you can not get a better bow.... my wifes shoots awesome and the FPS is the same as my 1000 dollar faktor...... and yes.. diamond is bowtechs cheaper stuff, as is reflex to hoyt.

I have really enjoyed my diamond outlaw. It shoots flat and fast-great groups at 50yds for less than $500. I have shot and can afford more expensive but this bow seems to fit my eye just fine.
