Are the first two commands I teach my dogs. What about everybody else?

Nice! I do teach load up and hunt em up. I do not teach sit (pointers)

In the field, whoa, here, and heel. That's all that's really needed. However, my dogs also learn commands to style them up while on point, and to relax. Those commands are learned on tha barrel and while standing birds. They are probably more important for trialing, but I've also found them very useful when hunting as well..... In the house they learn back, outside, and down.

I teach those later. Very important commands!

Why?...for several reasons:

1) German born to Schutzhund (K-9) champions
2) German Shepherd
3) To prevent others from giving her commands while she is in Protection mode
4) To improve my German skills
