The annual Kids Fishing Derby on Blackmans Lake in Snohomish will be Saturday, June 6 from 8-11 a.m. for kids 6-15 years of age. All kids will receive prizes and refreshments.

Register at Hill Park or the public boat access from 7:15-8 a.m. Bring your own tackle. Life jackets are required when fishing from boats. Derby is sponsored by the Snohomish Sportsmen’s Club and the Tillicum Kiwanis. For more information, 360-568-4083.

Nice.  Biggest in derby was .82 lb.  Not huge.
